Gigi Hadid launched Guest in Residence in September 2022 around a phrase she uses plainly: future heirlooms — knitwear built to last years rather than seasons. The cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia, is used at 100% rather than blended, and is selected for fibre that resists pilling. The intent was affordability as much as quality: a wardrobe of cashmere basics in modern shapes and unserious colours, rather than one careful investment piece kept for best.
