Pedro García

Pedro García Amat came back from Cuba in 1925 and set up as a shoemaker — making footwear for newborns. The first family factory opened in Elda in 1928, and every pair the company has made since has come out of that same town. It is on its third generation now, siblings Mila and Pedro running it as chief executive and creative director; women’s shoes only since 1965.
