MOUSSY VINTAGE
Moussy opened in 2000 inside Shibuya 109, the Tokyo department store, selling its own denim alongside vintage. The premise was to take heavy-ounce denim — the weight traditionally reserved for menswear — and cut it for women. The Vintage line, added in 2016, is made in Japan and leans on relationships with the country’s wash houses built up over two decades.
