PREMIATA
The Mazza family have been making shoes in Montegranaro, in the Marche, since 1885 — a century of handwork before anyone thought to call it fashion. Graziano Mazza took over his grandfather’s workshop and created the Premiata name in 1991, drawing at first on the sober minimalism of the Belgian school. In 1996, when a sneaker still meant sport, he started making them for people who didn’t play anything.
