Eleventy

Marco Baldassari and Paolo Zuntini started Eleventy in Milan in 2007, working to a principle Baldassari calls smart luxury and, underneath it, sprezzatura — the Italian idea of looking composed without appearing to have tried. In practice that means soft tailoring: jackets built closer to knitwear than to structure, in cloth fine enough that they don’t announce themselves. It has grown to around two hundred people, with shops from Rome to New York.
