RICHARD GRAND

Richard Grand has been working in cashmere since 1976 — designed in Paris, knitted in its own atelier in Perugia, which turns out somewhere between thirty-five and forty thousand pullovers a year. The signature is a 33-gauge cashmere-and-silk sweater, among the lightest knitted anywhere, which is the whole trick: close to weightless without going shapeless. The intarsias and embroideries are still worked by hand.
