Sable Banoun grew up in Los Angeles and started the label there in 2017, after fourteen years in retail and styling, on a premise she states flatly: comfort is confidence — the foundation, not an afterthought. Every collection begins with the cashmere. She chooses and dyes that colour first, then builds the silk, cotton and denim to match it, which is why the whole wardrobe reads monochromatic and why any two pieces sit together. The material list stays deliberately narrow — 100% cashmere, silk charmeuse and crepe de chine, sandwashed jersey, clean denim — and the clothes are designed to be layered rather than bought one at a time: sneaker by day, heel by night, cashmere over the top when it turns cold.
