Calò is a second-generation family shoemaker working from a single factory near Naples, where the whole process stays in-house. It spent years making artisanal footwear for other luxury houses before putting its own name on a line; the trade goes back to the 1980s. The shoes are welted rather than glued — the construction that lets a boot be resoled instead of replaced.
