Lars Andersson

Lars Andersson began in a Brooklyn studio in the mid-2000s, making Swedish-minimalist knitwear himself. In 2013 he went to Kathmandu to produce a sample collection, was persuaded by the skill of the craftspeople he found there, and moved sampling and production over for good. Since 2020 he has run a knitting studio in Nepal with a local business partner and a small team, hand-looming in pure natural fibres — for his own label and for other international brands.
