RE/DONE takes apart vintage men’s Levi’s and rebuilds them as modern women’s fits. The donor pairs are mostly from the eighties and nineties, chosen because the denim of those years was unblended cotton, sourced from a handful of West Coast suppliers. Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur started the label in downtown Los Angeles in 2014 with exactly two styles, the Straight Skinny and the Relaxed Straight — which means no two reworked pairs have aged quite the same way.
